While Dean's focus has always been on fine art photography and photojournalism for most of his career, he is able to carry over these styles into giving you very unique and creative photography that will showcase your needs for advertising, events, products, portraits, fashion, sports, etc.

Dean has been a working professional photographer for over 20 years. A graduate of Community College of Allegheny County with a degree in Graphic Design with an emphasis in photography. Before graduating he was hired as a staff photographer for Gateway Publications and then moved onto The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review as a freelance photographer, then moving to a full time position as a Digital Imaging Specialist before getting promoted as their Chief Digital Imaging Specialist. Dean held these positions for 12 years before leaving the company in March of 2009 to dedicate himself full time to his photography.

Dean’s work has been seen on the pages of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Gateway Associated Newspapers, Fanfare Magazine, Faceoff Magazine, Sports Illustrated, SI.com, Pro Football Weekly, The Wall Street Journal, Men's Fitness.com and several other national and international publications. Along with his work being seen in print it has also been seen on the walls of Pittsburgh’s most prestigious galleries such as The Carnegie Museum of Art, Moxie DaDA, Le Poire and FE Gallery just to name a few. He also boast several book credits for not only published work but for overseeing photo reproduction and editing.

Besides shooting under his own company name, Dean also shoots for the elite press agencies ZUMA Press, and Icon SMI. Covering pro and NCAA sports in the Pittsburgh, PA. area. Steelers, Pirates, Penguins and PITT.

Dean's work has also been seen on the walls of Pittsburgh's most prestigious galleries, The Carnegie Museum of Art, Moxie DaDA, Le Poire, and FE Gallery just to name a few.
